Fest in Historic Edenton’s goal is to
provide a “competitor friendly / family
friendly” atmosphere for the 2012 Hog Fest in
Historic Edenton State of NC Championship
Cornhole Tournament. It is expected that
all participants and spectators will have the
same goal and conduct themselves in such a
manner.
The 3rd annual Hog Fest Cornhole
Tournament will be conducted in accordance
with the American Cornhole Association rules.
“Early Bird” team entry fee will be $40.00 if
registered and paid by April 15, 2012. After
that date the fee will be $50.00.
Competition will occur rain or shine and
any night play will be under lights.
Guaranteed tournament payout will be $1000.00.
Participants may register as a team or draw for
a partner. All disputes will be settled by
tournament officials and all decisions by said
officials are final. Registration may be
paid for by check, money order, cash or credit
card online through Pay Pal. For further

Preliminary Cornhole activities will include
the following: 4 PM Friday, April 27 – Boards
will be set-up for practice. There will be
side games such as “Airmail” and “7/21” Friday
evening and Saturday. If on Friday
evening, beginning at 6:30 PM, there are enough
teams there will be “pick-up” Cornhole
tournaments with 50% payout. Friday
“pick-up” tournament results have no effect on
Saturday’s Championship Tournament.
The
tournament format will be a 2 person team,
double elimination format conducted in
accordance with the sanctioning of the American
Cornhole Association. If a team provides
an ACA ID #, scores will be reported to ACA.
The 3rd annual Hog Fest Cornhole
Tournament registration will begin at 12:00 noon on
Saturday, April 28, 2012. Tournament play
will begin at 1:00 PM and continue until a
winner is declared.
Tournament Awards on Saturday, April 28th
will be: 1st Place - $500.00; 2nd
Place - $300.00; 3rd Place - $200.00.
Payment will be by checks, two per team.

After submitting the registration, you will
automatically be sent to PayPal to pay your
entry fee by credit card or through our PayPal
account. Upon receipt of the completed
registration and confirmation from PayPal that
your entry fee has been paid, Hog Fest in
Historic Edenton will send you a confirmation
email of receipt. PayPal is 100% secure
and is a free service but does charge a 3%
handling charge per transaction.

TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY:
In consideration of Edward G. Bond Post 40
accepting this entry, I, the undersigned,
intending to be legally bound, hereby for
myself, my heirs, executors and administrators,
waive and release any and all rights and claims
for damages I may have against the Hog Fest in
Historic Edenton or the Edward G. Bond Post 40,
Inc, their representatives, successors, and
assigns, for any and all injuries or damages
arising from accidents to persons or property
occasioned during the set-up, break-down and
periods of the tournament. Further, I
hereby grant full permission to the Hog Fest in
Historic Edenton or the Edward G. Bond Post 40
and/or agents authorized by them, to use any
photographs, video tapes, motion pictures,
recordings and any other record of this event
for any legitimate purpose. |
